Currently, the competition in the budget segment of TWS earbuds is fierce. And to make a place for themselves in this competition, Hoco has brought their new model Hoco EQ34 Plus Rima. For just around 1000 rupees, this earbud has ANC + ENC, Bluetooth 5.4, up to 7 hours of battery backup, App Control and Multi-Device Switching. In today's video, we will know whether it will actually give you the right value for your money or not. For those who are looking for premium features within the budget, how will it be for them - and how did I feel after buying and using it, let's find out in detail.
Unboxing Design and Build
The box contains the earbuds, charging case, USB Type-C charging cable, two pairs of extra eartips and manual.
The first thing you will notice is the design of the charging case. The case is quite compact and comes in a premium matte finish. The entire set weighs only 44.8 grams, which makes it easy to carry around in your pocket. The buds are magnetically attached very tightly inside the case. The earbuds are in-ear design and fit very comfortably in the ear. There is no discomfort in the ears even after prolonged use. The case and the buds will have such LED lights, which will blink as needed - such as when a call comes in, when charging or when listening to music, which looks quite premium.
Features and Specifications
It uses the latest Bluetooth 5.4 and Jerry AC7003D4 chipset, which will give you super fast pairing and stable connectivity. The biggest attraction is its App Control. Through the 'Hoco Music' app, you can set EQ, customize touch controls, update firmware and even use the 'Find My Earbuds' feature if the earbuds are lost. The sound quality is really impressive at this budget. Bass: Deep and punchy, Vocal: Clear and clear. The touch controls are responsive, one tap to pause/play, two taps to next/previous track, and a long press to turn ANC on/off. The biggest feature is ANC or active noise cancellation. The company says that the buds have a 40mAh battery and the case has a 300mAh battery. You don't have to worry about battery backup. You can get about 7 hours of playback from the buds on a single charge (with ANC off). You can get about 6 hours if ANC is on. With the 300mAh case, it is possible to get more than 28 hours of backup in total. There is a modern Type-C port for charging.
Sound & ANC/ENC
"Speaking of sound, it has a large 13mm driver. This is a good option for bass lovers. Vocals and treble are also quite clear. The sound quality is quite surprising in this price range. Bass is good, but not overpowering. Vocals and treble are clear.
ANC (Active Noise Cancellation): The biggest feature of this earbud is ANC (Active Noise Cancellation). According to the company's claims, it reduces external noise to a great extent. It works great indoors or in the office. Turning on ANC reduces external low-frequency noise such as the hum of a fan or AC to a great extent. However, it does not completely cut out very high-pitched noise, which is normal for this price.
ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation): It has a quad-mic setup for talking. It is quite effective in filtering external noise and providing a clear calling experience. Due to ENC, your voice remains clear while calling

Final Verdict
All things considered, HOCO EQ34 Plus Rima are an excellent budget TWS earbuds. I got them for 840/- taka. However, you can check the video description to know the current updated price. If your budget is around 1000 taka and you are looking for a modern feature-rich earbuds that have ANC+ENC, app support, are lightweight, have good sound quality, and long battery backup—then you can definitely consider these. However, if you are looking for the highest quality noise cancelling headphones, If you want cancellation, then you have to increase your budget a little. I am satisfied with what is being offered at this price.
