আমি এখন আছি, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novo Theatre এ, যা একসময় ভাসানী নভোথিয়েটার নামে পরিচিত ছিল।

আজকের এই Blog এবং Video টিতে নভোথিয়েটারটি ঘুরে দেখাবো এবং নভোমণ্ডল সম্পর্কে কিছু জানার চেষ্টা করব। এখানে নভোমন্ডল সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত জানার জন্য এবং নভোমন্ডলের ধারণা পাওয়ার জন্য কৃত্রিম নভোমন্ডল তৈরি করা হয়েছে।

রাজধানী ঢাকার তেজগাঁও বিজয় সরণীর মোড়ে নভোথিয়েটারটি অবস্থিত। প্যানেটেরিয়াম প্রদর্শনীর টিকেটের মূল্য 100 টাকা। 5 ডি মুভি থিয়েটার, 5 ডি ইন্টেরিয়েকটিভ এডুটেইনমেন্ট সিমুলেটর টিকেটের মূল্য 50 টাকা করে, ডিজিটাল ও সায়েন্টিফিক এক্সিবিটস গ্যালারির টিকেট 100 টাকা এবং রাইড সিমুলেটরের জনপ্রতি টিকিট মূল্য 20 টাকা। 

প্রাচীণ ধ্রুপদী ও আধুনিক নির্মাণরীতির মিশ্রণ অনুসৃত হয়েছে এ নভোথিয়েটারে। সপ্তর্ষীমণ্ডলের সাতটি তারাসহ সাত সংখ্যার বিশেষ গুরুত্ব আছে জ্যোতির্বিজ্ঞানে। এরই প্রতীকী রূপায়ন হিসেবে মূল ভবনের সামনের অংশে দুইপাশে সাতটি করে মোট ১৪টি ফ্রি হাইট রোমান কলাম আছে যার উচ্চতা ৪০ ফুট।

৩২ মিটার ব্যসার্ধ বিশিষ্ট মূল ডোমটির উচ্চতা ৫ তলার সমান। এতে আছে একটি স্পেস থিয়েটার গেম, একটি রাইড সিমুলেটর, চলচ্চিত্র ও স্লাইড প্রদর্শন সুবিধাসহ সম্মেলন কক্ষ প্রভৃতী। নভোথিয়েটারে ৫ টি লেভেল রয়েছে। এর মধ্যে মাটির উপরে দুইটি লেভেল এবং নিচে ৩টি লেভেল।

নভোথিয়েটারে প্রদর্শনী ছাড়াও রয়েছে সৌরজগতের গ্রহসমূহের মডেল, তারকাসমূহের মডেল, চাঁদ, সূর্য ও পৃথিবীর মডেল, ট্রান্সপারেন্ট সেলেসিয়াল গ্লোব ইত্যাদি এবং বিশ্ববিখ্যাত বিজ্ঞানীদের ছবি।

তবে এখানকার অনেক প্রদর্শনী 2004 সালের উপযোগী ছিলো কিন্তু সময়ের উপযোগে আরও Advance Level এর কিছু প্রদর্শনী এখানে যুক্ত করা খুবই দরকার হয়ে পরেছে।

নভোথিয়েটারের কেন্দ্রে ১৫০ টি প্রজেক্টর ব্যবহার করে মাল্টিপল ইমেজের সমন্বয়ে একটি কৃত্রিম মহাকাশ তৈরি করা হয়েছে। এখন আমরা স্পেস থিয়েটারে প্রবেশ করবো।
