Today we have come to the Bangladesh Air Force Museum located in Agargaon, right in the heart of Dhaka. Those who love planes, want to witness history, or are looking for a beautiful place to spend the weekend with their family—today's video is for them. Let's explore the entire museum!

🎫Entrance and Environment

So friends, we have reached the main gate of this museum located in Agargaon, Dhaka. Established in 2014, this museum is the first aviation museum in Bangladesh.

Now let's talk about the tickets. The ticket price for general visitors is only 50 taka! And the interesting thing is, for just 30 taka, you can sit inside any plane or helicopter kept inside the museum! Yes, you hear me! It's a great experience. Let's go inside.

Upon entering the museum, you will see a huge open courtyard and various warplanes arranged in rows. The surrounding environment is very clean and quite suitable for a family outing.

✈️Aircraft Collection

Here, starting from the historic 'Kilo Flight' aircraft used in our great liberation war, all the legendary fighter jets that served in the air force at different times are kept. The aircraft you see behind me, once flew through the sky. Now they have been maintained so beautifully that it seems ready to fly in the sky!

🚁Exhibitions and History

There is an information board next to each aircraft, where detailed information about the aircraft's name, use and history is given. As a result, there is an opportunity not only to wander around, but also to learn a lot.

One of the great things about this museum is that you can go inside some of the planes (by purchasing a separate ticket). There are nice rides and swings for kids. So if you come with your family, the kids will also enjoy it. And yes, if you get tired while walking, there is also a good food court, where you can sit and have snacks or tea and coffee.

There is 'Balaka' - the first passenger plane of Bangladesh made by Russia, which arrived in Bangladesh in 1958. There is also an Air Tourer made by New Zealand, a Fugitive M-170 from France, a glider from Germany - and so much more! I am sitting inside this helicopter now. I am getting this opportunity for a ticket of 30 taka! See what it looks like from the inside! Small children will not miss this place very much.

🚂Children's entertainment

There is a mini train, lake and various entertainment facilities inside the museum. Not only the plane, there is a theme park for children, portraits of various animals, and eye-catching fountains. The whole environment is very neat and pleasant. You can come and visit with your family on holidays.

For those who love to take pictures, this place is like heaven. Huge planes, beautiful landscapes, and open skies—all together, there are amazing photography opportunities. Moreover, there are different types of activity zones here, if you want, you can try them, but due to our budget and time, it was not possible to try them.

For me, the trip to the Bangladesh Air Force Museum was very enjoyable and educational. I learned a lot about the history of the Bangladesh Air Force by coming here.

The museum is open on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm, and from Monday to Thursday from 2 pm to 8 pm. It is closed on Sundays. How to get there? You can come to Agargaon from any part of Dhaka. From Gulistan or Rampura, take a bus from Vihang, Himachal, etc. and drop it off at 'Bimanbahini Jadughar'. You can also bring your own car or CNG if you want. All in all, this is one of the best places to see the history of fighter aircraft in such a large open space and greenery in Dhaka.
